Science Day!

We had a fantastic day today learning all about science! We started with a whole school assembly watching different experiments before going to class and completing our own. We started with a lava experiment which the children decided would be like the inside of the volcanoes on Mars! We watched as the colours bubbled away before finally sizzling out.

Then we went outside and had two rockets. A small one and a larger one (coke bottles). We predicted that the biggest one would travel the highest and we were right! It shot up really high into the air just like a rocket blasting off into space. It was great fun!
