Head Boy and Head Girl

Meet St John's Head Girl and Head Boy: 

Hi, I’m Isla I am so glad to be head girl of Great Harwood St. Johns. It was really my dream to become head girl and I am so delighted to be working with my friends. Once the whole of top school was ushered into the hall I immediately knew what it was for and I started to worry but once Miss Parker announced the results I was relieved and walked right up to the front of the school to receive my badge.

I was ecstatic to know that I had become head girl and Mr Lancaster had taken us to Mrs Vought to attain our parents numbers, so we could let them know.

I am still so happy to have become head girl and I am going to do my best to make school enjoyable for everyone. I have already set up a fun week after the dreaded week (SATs which personally I am looking forward to) called spirit week. Me and deputy head girl are also in the process for getting new hooks for the girl’s cloak room, and if there is a problem with the boy’s cloak room we will help solve it, and more playground equipment which we have asked around for. Hello I am Eesa and I am head boy. I would like to tell you why I am a good head boy. As I am head boy I can always make time for others. If you are feeling sad and upset come to me and I can help you. If you are feeling lonely come to me and I can play with you. I would like to tell you why I am a good role model. Being head boy is a big responsibility, so I will do my best to set an example for the younger children. My goal is to make this school a better place by following the school’s Christian values. I will always be there if you need me..

Meet St John's Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy: 

Hello my name is Jessica, and I am deputy head girl at St John’s C.E. Great Harwood. I love helping people because then they become my friend. Also, becoming this role, makes me want to come to school and learn. Me and head girl have been helping by getting some new hangers for the Owls and have been getting new equipment for the Juniors. It’s so fun being deputy head girl and wish for the next person who will get this role to have as such as an amazing time that I’m having.

Hi my name is Arsalan and I’m deputy head boy at St John’s C.E. Primary School Great Harwood. I am very trustworthy and friendly. Even though I’ve not done much for the school so far, I’m pretty sure I make a good deputy head boy because: I help people, always there for everyone, I’m smart, creative, make a good role model for the other children, I don’t make trouble and I am very kind. I’m just a bit of everything. I wanted to become deputy head boy so I can help people in any circumstances and that’s also why people voted for me. When I became deputy head boy I felt proud of myself for what I had achieved.
