Making Bread - Enrichment
After reading the story of The Little Red Hen, we decided to make our very own bread to make delicious jam sandwiches. The children followed the instructions very carefully and did a fantastic job!
Planting Garlic - Enrichment
As part of our healthy gardens, healthy lifestyle campaign we decided to plant our very own garlic. We discussed what the bulbs would need to grow including soil, sunlight and water. The children even decided that once the garlic is ready they are going to use it to make their very own tomato and garlic bread. Yummy!
Exploring People Who Help Us
A Trip to Our School Greenhouse!
We went to the school greenhouse and picked lots of tomatoes. We washed them carefully and had them as part of our healthy snack. We also saw a huge pumpkin growing and we dug up lots of potatoes.
